Immigration has shaped and reshaped Canada’s neighbourhoods, from the millions who abandoned war-weary Europe after 1945 to newer waves from south and east Asia.

The map above shows the leading mother tongue by census tract, other than French or English. The data comes from the October 25 census data release.
