Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be attending this weekend’s Winona Peach Festival.
Trudeau will take in the 50th anniversary of the popular event Saturday at 3:00 pm and will tour the festival for an hour.
The Peach Festival wraps up on Sunday.
Canadian Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan will also pay a visit to Hamilton this weekend.
Sajjan will lay a wreath at Hamilton’s Afghanistan War Memorial on Sunday afternoon, and will also tour the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
On Monday afternoon, Sajjan will visit James Street businesses with Mayor Fred Eisenberger and local Liberal MPs Filomena Tassi and Bob Bratina ahead of Supercrawl.
The tour will begin at Steeltown Garage Co., and continue to Gate of India, Centre 3, and the Hamilton Store.
Also on Monday, Sajjan will tour HMCS Haida.
