Jim Carrey is showing off his other talent in a new short film.
In his six-minute movie titled I Needed Color, Carrey, 55, reveals his side career as a visual artist.
In the short, Carrey displays his artistic accomplishments and explains how this has been a passion of his from a young age.

“I like the independence of it. I love the freedom of it. No one else tells you what you can or can’t do, most of the time. And there’s an immediacy to it,” Carrey says about his art.

The actor reveals that as a kid he mostly sketched, but over the past few years, he turned his passion for art into painting.
He admits that art has been incredibly therapeutic for him and that he has poured his emotions, thoughts and feelings into his work.

The movie, posted to Vimeo, has garnered over 1.5 million views and has even gained the attention of fellow celebrities like LeBron James:
