Two of three suspects were arrested after an attempted armed robbery of a marijuana dispensary on Monday.
Keremeos RCMP were called to the dispensary at around noon.
Witnesses said a man forced his way into the store wielding a corkscrew and demanded money and marijuana.
One clerk was struck with the corkscrew and sustained a minor injury.
Another staff member wrestled with the suspect and forced him out of the dispensary.
The would-be robber left in a silver VW Golf towards Osoyoos.
RCMP found out the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Saanich.
Patrolling officers spotted the Golf, but did not pursue it because it was being driven in a dangerous manner, police said.
A spike belt was eventually deployed as the vehicle continued towards Osoyoos, but police only pursued it until it reached Osoyoos city limits.
When the vehicle was located in Osoyoos, one person managed to run away, but two suspects were taken into custody.
A 31-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were arrested.
Investigators know the identity of the thrid suspect, and continue to search for that person.
