The New Brunswick RCMP are investigating after canoers found a body on the shores of the St. John River near Tobique Narrows.
The body was recovered with the assistance of the Perth-Andover Fire Department and their boat.

Police have yet to confirm the identity of the body or how long it was in the river.
Their investigation is ongoing and an autopsy is being conducted.
