CALGARY – Two people had to be rushed to hospital after a stabbing in the city’s northwest on Wednesday night.

It happened in the 7900 block of Bowness Road, just before midnight.

Police say the victims were approached by two people asking for money, and were stabbed when they refused to hand over any cash.

The victims were taken to hospital by EMS. It’s not known how serious their injuries are.
