Emergency crews have closed down part of Highway 104 in Salt Springs, N.S. after responding to what RCMP call an “unfolding incident” involving a tractor trailer.
Cpl. Dal Hutchinson says Pictou District RCMP, EHS and West River Fire were dispatched to the area at about 12:27 p.m.
Hutchinson said there is no concern to the public but could not provide any other information.
Eastbound and westbound traffic is being rerouted at Exits 19 and 20 onto Highway 4.
The highway is expected to be closed for the next few hours as police conduct their investigation.
