Motorcycle driver killed in collision near Edmonton

A 50-year-old man died after a motorcycle collision west of Edmonton Monday night.

Police said a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle happened on Parkland Drive near Stony Plain shortly after 9 p.m.

The driver was thrown from the motorcycle and he died at the scene.

RCMP haven’t confirmed the cause of the collision but said alcohol and road conditions aren’t believed to be factors.
