WINNIPEG — Another day and another transaction for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers as training camp draws near.
The Blue Bombers released international defensive back CJ Roberts on Thursday.
Roberts, 25, joined the blue and gold last season. He appeared in seven games before finishing the season on the injured list.

Playing at cornerback Roberts had two interceptions, returning one of them for a touchdown. He also recorded 26 defensive tackles.
The Bombers open rookie camp on Wednesday.
