She was refused for the transplant in Alberta. However, a Cincinnati doctor who specializes in treating this rare cancer has stepped up to do it. The problem is, it could cost her parents more than a million dollars for the transplant and post-operative treatment. There’s also no guarantee the government will reimburse them for their expenses.
