Double digits days have arrived in Saskatoon, but how long will they last?

Fog Advisory

A fog advisory has been issued for the North Battleford, Prince Albert, Meadow Lake, Melfort, Nipawin, Hudson Bay and Kamsack areas.

Environment Canada says travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.

A mild and relatively humid airmass will bring foggy conditions across this region this evening with extensive fog expected throughout this whole area by Thursday morning before it lifts during the day.

Saskatoon Forecast

Today

-5 is what it felt like with wind chill this morning in Saskatoon as temperatures dropped back to the freezing mark under partly to mostly cloudy skies.

We quickly warmed up through the morning with high single digit values reached before noon!

This afternoon we’ll see bit more sunshine as we rise up to our daytime high in double digits for our fourth time so far this year.

Tonight

Clouds will roll back in overnight as the mercury falls back toward the freezing mark.

Thursday

A system sliding by south of our area will keep us under mostly cloudy skies through the day tomorrow with a chance of showers through the day and rain expected by evening.

Temperatures will warm up quite swiftly through the morning up into high single digits before topping out just into double digits for a daytime high.

Friday

A rain-snow mix is possible from morning until early afternoon on Friday as a disturbance passes through the region.

Cloudy skies will stick around until late in the day when we might get some clearing as we rise up to an afternoon high in high single digits.

Weekend Outlook

Clouds will roll back in on Saturday as a trough and developing area of low pressure pass through bringing in a good chance of late day rain that may linger into early Sunday morning before clouds clear.

We are expecting to climb up into double digit daytime highs both Saturday and Sunday with breezy conditions through the weekend.
