A man believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s was stabbed multiple times and beaten with a baseball bat, Hamilton police say.
Police responded to the call around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The victim was left in an alleyway in the area of King Street East and Emerald in downtown Hamilton.
The alley was taped off with four police cruisers parked in front.
Hamilton police say the victim is in stable condition. They have not released any information on possible suspects.
