Channel Zero has reached a settlement with Unifor in the dispute over the 2015 restructuring of CHCH.
The two parties have signed off on $1,000,001 to be paid out over a two-year period for the specific purpose of paying wages, termination pay and severance pay to former employees.
At the time of the restructuring, the TV station reported that 71 people were offered a new job under a new company, while another 96 were laid off.

Channel Zero calls the settlement amount substantial, but in a release states that it will not jeopardize operations at CHCH.
