A Penticton resident was able to thwart an attempted break-in Thursday morning.
The person was home when someone tried to break into their West Bench area residence.

Police said the homeowner called them with a description of a vehicle seen leaving the area.
RCMP found the suspect vehicle and arrested two men.
Police believe the attempted break-in was targeted.
