A shuttle bus and train were put in place between Sapperton, Braid and Lougheed stations and additional security along with Transit Police were on-site to ensure passenger safety and crowd control.

Expo Line trains from Waterfront to King George and the Millennium Line were not affected by the medical issue.

TransLink said their crews were working hard to restore full service, but passengers still had a delay of several hours.

Just after 11 a.m., TransLink said the medical emergency was cleared at Braid Station and regular service was resuming.
