People were taking to social media Thursday night after a meteor flash was spotted in southern British Columbia and western Washington State.
The suspected meteor let off a green flash at about 9:45 p.m. in the Fraser Valley.
The “gigantic” flash was also spotted in Spokane, Washington.
A driver used their dashboard camera to record the meteor streaking in the sky in Pitt Meadows along the Lougheed Highway.

The video, which was posted to YouTube, shows a bright light moving in the sky before suddenly flashing green and disappearing.
Global News has not been able to confirm if the sighting was a meteor or debris from space.
