Victoria Police are investigating reports of up to 40 cars getting their tires slashed in Esquimalt this morning.
Police say their call-takers are working to gather all the information they can and officers are currently on the scene.

Crime Watch volunteers are also patrolling the area, keeping an eye out for affected vehicles.
It appears most of the slashings took place along Craigflower Road.
Investigators say they have now identified a person of interest and are looking for witnesses.
