More drivers are now facing repair bills thanks to a major pothole in Surrey.
One huge hole is causing some major damage in the 12800-block of King George Boulevard. It’s the same pothole that damaged about six cars on Wednesday night.
Then on Thursday night, more than 12 vehicles were left with flat tires after hitting the hole.
While city crews did come by Wednesday night to make repairs to that stretch of road, it now appears more repairs are needed.
In Vancouver, the city says it repairs an average of 3,200 potholes a year but with winter’s cycle of freezing and thawing it appears to have made the problem worse across the region.
