Winnipeg Blue Bombers add Canadian receiver

WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian receiver Matt Coates to fill the hole left by free agent Rory Kohlert.

The 25-year-old spent the last three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He had nine catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in 34 games.

Coates was named a Canadian Junior Football League All-Canadian in 2013.
