Fire crews are still investigating what caused a serious blaze in Summerland Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to the home at around 7 p.m.
The owner wasn’t home but received a call his house was on fire. By the time he arrived flames were shooting through the roof.

While investigators are still trying to pinpoint the cause of the fire, early indications are that it was electrical in nature. They believe the fire started in the garage.
A Summerland firefighter was injured on-site, dislocating his shoulder after slipping on ice.
Damage to the home is extensive but the owner has insurance.
