Calgary police investigate another possible road rage incident, this one involving bear spray

Police say a road rage incident started after two drivers started honking at each other in the southeast community of Evergreen Sunday morning.

The driver of one of the vehicles then threw a can at the other vehicle, which is when the other driver retaliated with bear spray, the one driver said.

Eventually, one of the drivers lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a light post.

Police said they located both vehicles and their drivers and are determining whether or not charges are warranted.

This is the fourth road rage incident in Calgary in the past two weeks.

Last Tuesday, a man said he was attacked by two people on MacLeod Trail near 194 Avenue.

father and son have been charged in that case.
