Winnipeg students make key hooks for charity – Dec 16, 2016

It may not be the North Pole, but students at Murdoch MacKay Collegiate are hoping to make Christmas brighter for Winnipeggers.

Students in the welding class are crafting key hooks for Koats For Kids. Friday is the cut off to order your own.

The students are creating the personalized key hangers that range in price from $10 to $20.

Other students in the school are also  putting together hampers for the Christmas Cheer Board as well as collecting winter items for Koats for Kids.

Over the past five years, the school has raised more than $6,000 for the cause.
