A Queens County man has been charged with several counts of drug possession following a traffic stop on King Street in Bridgewater on Wednesday.
The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, alongside the Criminal Intelligence Service of Nova Scotia, arrested the man for drug-related offences. They also seized several types of prescription and illicit drugs when they searched the vehicle.
Glen Mansfield has been charged with four counts of possession with the purpose of trafficking and one count of breaching a probation order. Each count of possession is for a different drug: hydromorphone, methamphetamine, methylphenidate and marijuana.
Mansfield was remanded into custody until Friday after appearing in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Thursday.
