Longueuil police have confirmed that one of three men stabbed in Longueuil Sunday morning has died of his injuries.
The man was the first of three victims to be found in three stabbing incidents that police say are linked.
At 5:50 a.m. ET police were called to the corner of Curé-Poirier Boulevard and Adoncour Street in Longueuil, where officers discovered a 22-year-old man with stab wounds to the upper body.
He was rushed to hospital where he later died of his injuries.

According to police, a second call came in a few minutes later and a second victim, a 26-year-old man, was found nearby, on Gaston-Véronneau Street.
He was taken to hospital to be treated for lacerations on his back. Police do not fear for his life.
A third person showed up in hospital of their own accord, to be treated for stab wounds to the upper body.
Investigators are hoping to meet with the two surviving victims as soon as their health allows.
