Condolences continue to pour in for Saskatoon-Meewasin MLA Roger Parent.
The City of Saskatoon lowered flags to half-mast at city facilities in honour of Parent, 63, who passed away Tuesday night.

His death came hours after his family revealed to the public he had been recently diagnosed with cancer.
In a statement, Saskatoon Mayor Charlie Clark, says Parent was on a number of boards and committees over the years and that his death is a loss to the community.
Parent was first elected in 2011 and was re-elected in 2016 with just over 50 per cent of the vote.
Prior to entering politics, Parent worked as a business consultant and in project management. He was also involved in a number of community initiatives.
A funeral service will take place Monday at Lakeview Alliance Church.
