The Victoria Royals defeated the Kelowna Rockets 6-2 on Tuesday night in the second half of a two game series in Victoria.

It was a fast paced back and forth battle but the Rockets fell short.

Kole Lind scored his 12th of the season for the Rockets furthering his goal lead on the Kelowna team, and the two teams were tied 1-1 through 20 minutes.

Devante Stephens scored in the second period to tie the game at 2-2 but the Royals pulled ahead 3-2 before the end of the middle frame.

The Royals scored three more in the third period to put the game out of the Rockets reach.

Michael Herringer fell to 11-8-0-0 on the season stopping 27 of 33 shots faced. Kelowna outshot Victoria 37-33.

Kelowna’s record is now 13-11-0-0.

The Rockets next home game is Saturday, November 26th at 7:05P.M.
