Police are searching for a man who viciously beat a store clerk with a pipe during an attempted robbery in Florida last month.
The October 14 attack was caught on camera and shows the suspect walking into Shamrock Gas Station in Hollywood, Fla. carrying a metal pipe. The unknown man was then seen hitting the clerk with the object and his fists.
According to NBC affiliate WTVJ news, the attacker tried to take out the clerk by hitting him on the back of the head.

The victim was seen trying to fight back and was eventually able to take the pipe away from the suspect, preventing the robbery from happening.
The suspect fled the scene and there is no word yet if he has been caught.
Police continue to investigate.
