Video footage uploaded to a social media website on Friday, Nov. 18 purports to show two children being rescued from the rubble of damaged buildings in the Syrian city of Aleppo.
The two separate incidents are said to have happened in Yaqid al Adas in Aleppo. Videos appear to show a boy and a girl being rescued by members of the Syrian Civil Defence, more commonly known as the White Helmets.

In the first incident, filmed at night time, the rescuers can be seen digging inside a damaged building in order to reach the child, who was covered in dust and patches of blood.
The boy is seen being freed from the rubble and taken to an ambulance for treatment.
In the second incident, a young girl is seen being rescued from the site of a damaged building after rescuers manage to remove the rubble trapping her.

Aleppo, for years split between a rebel-held east and government-held western sector, has become the fiercest front.
Warplanes, artillery and helicopters continued bombarding eastern Aleppo on Saturday (November 19), hitting many of its densely populated residential districts, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitor.
