Two teens sent to hospital after shooting in Regina

Regina police are investigating after two teenage boys were injured in a shooting that happened early Sunday morning.

Police said they received calls of a shooting in the 700 block of Athol Street at around 2:45 a.m. CT.

Initial investigation shows two to three gunshots were fired at the location.

Two boys, ages 14 and 17, were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for their injuries.

The 14-year-old boy was treated and released. The 17-year-old remains in hospital in serious, but stable condition.
