Dawn Coe-Jones, Canadian golfer, dies at 56

Canadian golfer Dawn Coe-Jones has died. She was 56.

The Canadian Golf Hall of Fame announced on Twitter that she died after a battle with bone cancer. She had been diagnosed with the disease at the beginning of the year.

The B.C. native was inducted into the Hall in 2003. She won three LPGA victories, starting with the Women’s Kemper Open in 1992.

She was also the Score Award Recipient for Outstanding Canadian Female Professional eight times over.
