WINNIPEG — Crews were busy battling a house fire in Fort Rouge Thursday morning.
Fire fighters were called to the 300 block of Montgomery Avenue around 6 a.m.

The fire started in a bedroom of the home and quickly spread. Two people who were in the house at the time were able to escape the fire with no serious injuries.
There is no word on how the fire started.
