WINNIPEG —  Winnipeggers may spot some superheros and villains roaming the streets before Halloween on Monday.

The Central Canadian Comic Con (C4) kicks off Friday and runs throughout the weekend at the RBC Convention Centre.

The event bring in more than 46,000 fans of comic books, gaming, science fiction, anime and horror. Vendors and guests come from all over the world take part.

One of the guests C4 fans may be most looking forward to most is former Star Trek star, William Shatner.
