“I have lots of energy and I am ready to go,” said an excited Fougere.
This will be Fougere’s second term as Mayor after he replaced Pat Fiacco in 2012.

Running against Fougere in this election was Tony Fiacco, Jim Elliott, Wayne Ast and Evangeline Godron.
During his first term as mayor, Fougere played a big part in Regina’s new stadium and the wastewater treatment plant.
“I will continue to work very hard. I have lots of energy. I have good council, the public has made a very decisive decision of who they want to serve on council,” added Fougere.
Prior to being mayor of Regina, Fougere served as a city councillor for five terms representing Ward 4.
