Free Saskatoon Transit rides to vote on election day

To ensure all voters are able to make it to the polls on election day, Saskatoon Transit is offering free bus rides on Wednesday, Oct. 26. File / Global News

Saskatoon Transit is offering free bus service on Wednesday, Oct. 26 for voters headed to the polls.

For riders to obtain service on election day, they must present the operator with a paper or electronic version of their free transit pass when getting on the bus.

Printed passes can retrieved at the transit customer service centre, city hall, a Saskatoon Public Library or a City of Saskatoon leisure centre.

There is no limit on the number of uses the pass can be used. It expires at the end of service on Wednesday.
