Editor’s note: Peter Dumond has been found safe and unharmed, Okotoks RCMP said Tuesday afternoon.
RCMP are thanking the public along with search and rescue crews for their help in finding a missing Okotoks man whose family had been unable to contact him.
Peter Dumond, 57, was last seen at his home in rural Okotoks on Friday, Oct. 21. by his step-daughter.
According to police, Dumond was supposed to fly back to Fort McMurray for work on Sunday, Oct. 23, but failed to do so.
RCMP officers conducted a search in the area where Dumond was last seen, along with volunteers from Foothills Search and Rescue.
