Police were called to the scene of a hit and run at around 5:55 a.m. Sunday morning.
According to police, a vehicle hit another parked car in the parking lot of a business in the 100 block of Pasqua Street. The car was then seen fleeing the scene.
After speaking to the witness, officers discovered the suspect’s vehicle was also a stolen one.
Police then located the stolen vehicle shortly after near the intersection of 7th Avenue and Cameron Street.
Police said they attempted to conduct a vehicle stop, but the stolen vehicle did not stop until it hit a barricade and another parked vehicle near 6th Avenue and Cameron Street.
According to police, the two occupants of the stolen car then fled on foot, but were quickly apprehended.
The passenger of the car, was a youth and was released without charges.
The driver of the stolen car, 20-year-old Logan Cyr is facing eight charges.
They include driving while impaired with a blood alcohol more than .08, theft over $5,000, failing to stop at the scene of an accident, evading police, and failing to comply with probation.
