Brad Morrison’s second goal of the game was the winner in the third as the Prince George Cougars edged the Saskatoon Blades 2-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Ty Edmonds made 29 saves while Jansen Harkins and Jesse Gabrielle each tacked on two helpers for Prince George (11-2-1).

Josh Paterson had the lone goal for the Blades (6-5-1) with Brock Hamm turning away 34 shots.

The Blades host the Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday.
