WINNIPEG — Winnipeg Blue Bombers rookie defensive back Taylor Loffler has been named a Shaw CFL Top Performer of the Week for his performance against the BC Lions on Friday.

Loffler had two interceptions, a forced fumble and a defensive tackle to help the Bombers sweep the home-and-home series with a 35-32 victory.

The Canadian sits tied for fourth in the league with four interceptions this season. He also has 44 tackles and a sack.

Loffler was selected 19th overall by the Bombers in the 2016 CFL Draft.

Ottawa Redblacks quarterback Henry Burris and Saskatchewan Roughriders running back Joe McKnight round out the Shaw CFL Top Peformers for Week 17.
