Police say the man left for Cambodia after the RCMP started an investigation this March and he was arrested on two outstanding warrants alleging child sexual offences.

The Mounties say they started their investigation after receiving information from a Cambodian non-governmental group involved in child protection.
Police say the man was living in Cambodia without a passport, and was tracked down in co-operation with police in Cambodia and Hong Kong.
The Mounties say Daniel Lavigne was arrested late Monday and is being held in Sudbury for a court appearance on unspecified child sexual offences.
