PENTICTON – Electrical outages are reported in a Penticton neighbourhood due to an accident involving a garbage truck.
At about 7:45 Monday morning, police and the fire department were called to an alley behind Andres Electronics on Skaha Lake Road.

It appears the garbage truck hit a power pole snapping it off at its base with some of the wires contacting the truck.
City of Penticton electrical crews were repairing the damage.
