Missing 51-year-old woman found safe

Linda Horsfall, 51, has been found safe.

According to Longueuil police, Horsfall returned home on her own at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Earlier that day, friends and family had organized a search party for her in the Eastern Townships.

Her cellphone was last turned off in that area.

Horsfall, who is from the south shore in Montreal was last seen Oct. 6 by friends and her husband.

“She’s just at the hospital to make sure everything is okay” said  Van Koliakos, her brother-in-law.

“Everybody is relieved.”

“I’m happy, we thought the worst and it’s a great result,” Joey Notargiovanni, the friend who organized the search party added.

No further details were released to respect the family’s privacy.
