Police seek witnesses to southeast Calgary motorcycle crash

Police are looking to the public for help finding a vehicle thought to be involved in a motorcycle crash last month that seriously injured the driver.

It happened on 68 Street S.E. near Memorial Drive S.E. at around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.

Police said a blue Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling southbound when it veered to the right and struck a pole.

The driver, 63-year-old Clause Pigeault, was taken to hospital where he remains in serious condition.

Police said a witness indicated that a newer, white, four-door sedan with tinted windows – possibly a Honda or Toyota – may have been involved in the collision.

Investigators said neither speed nor alcohol is considered a factor in the collision.
