The Toronto Blue Jays will take on the Baltimore Orioles for a do-or-die AL wild-card game at the Rogers Centre Tuesday evening, but could an open roof give the home team an edge?
It was announced Tuesday afternoon that the dome will be open.

According to the statistics provided to Global News Tuesday by the team, there was a noticeable difference on the field.

During the 2016 season, the Blue Jays had 34 wins and 16 losses – a 68 win percentage – when the roof was open. However, when the roof was closed the team won 11 times and lost 18 games – a 38 win percentage.

There were two times when the roof was closed mid-game and the Blue Jays lost one of those two games.
