A 21-year-old man is recovering in hospital after he was stabbed in the upper body with a sharp object Friday evening.
According to police, the man was stabbed after a fight broke out between several people at a parking lot in Montreal’s Rivières-des-Prairies borough.
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police were called to the intersection of Rodolphe-Forget and Perras boulevards at around 7:15 p.m. Friday, but the suspect had already fled the scene.
Montreal police spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils said the canine and forensic units were called in to recover evidence and analyze the scene.
No arrests have been made.
