VERNON – RCMP acknowledge there are two crime scenes at Polson Park in Vernon.
But the Mounties are saying nothing else, other than the investigation is ongoing.
Area residents say they saw flashing police lights around 10:00 p.m. Wednesday.
On Thursday morning, a police officer was guarding a path leading into a wooded area of the park which is known to have a “tent city” of homeless people.
The Vernon detachment’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
