Two people in northern Saskatchewan are dead in what Mounties are calling a murder-suicide.
Police were called to a home on the Canoe Lake Cree First Nation on Saturday afternoon for a report of a firearm being fired.

Beauval RCMP officers found a man suffering from a gunshot shot wound. The 27-year-old man was declared dead at the scene.
A 30-year-old man was found dead with a gunshot wound in a treed area on the First Nation a short time later.
Police said the two men were known to each other. Their names are not being released.

Autopsies are scheduled to take place in Saskatoon this week.
Police said no additional suspects are being sought and there is no risk to the public.
Canoe Lake Cree First Nation is approximately 440 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
