A woman and two children were taken to hospital on Thursday following an early morning rollover accident west of Calgary.
It happened on Highway 1A, about three kilometres west of Morley Road, at around 1 a.m.
Emergency crews arrived to find a vehicle on its roof on the north side of the highway.
The driver, of Stoney Nakoda, was trapped in the driver’s seat. Crews were able to extricate her.
Two young boys, ages three and four, were in the backseat of the vehicle.
All three people were transported to hospital in Calgary with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash caused the temporary closure of westbound Highway 1A west of Morely Road.
