Residents of Buena Vista, Sask. are being advised to boil their water before drinking it Wednesday.
A drinking water advisory was issued for the village after a water main broke at 9th Street and Schwann Avenue, according to officials.
Water pressure is low throughout the entire the community and residents are being told to boil all drinking water for at least one minute before using it.
Officials from the village said the advisory will be lifted after a Saskatchewan Water Security Agency inspection, which could be up to a couple of days. The water main is currently being repaired.
The village is located 40 kilometres northwest of Regina.
