Dr. Tim Walters stopped at every Okanagan College campus along the way, raising money for one of his students who suffered a brain aneurysm.
Gary Baker suffered the aneurysm while playing soccer in Kelowna.
He is now in Vancouver General Hospital, where he has undergone two major brain surgeries.
Baker is a married father of four girls, and a student at the Salmon Arm campus.
Walters left Okanagan College in Penticton on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 8 a.m. and made it to Salmon Arm on Sept. 1.
Walters raised more than $11,000 for the Baker family, and will be leaving his Go Fund Me page open for a few more days.
He also describes his journey on a Facebook Page called Campus to Campus Fundraising Walk.
