Apple has unveiled a new water-resistant Apple Watch that will allow users to swim, surf and even cannon ball while wearing the device.
The new Apple Watch Series 2 is water-resistant up to 50 metres, the industry standard for any swim watch. The watch even includes technology that will essentially “spit out” any water trapped inside the watch’s speaker.

The new Apple Watch also features GPS tracking. The first Apple Watch uses the GPS on an accompanying iPhone, that means carrying the phone with you as you hike or run. GPS isn’t common in smartwatches, though the upcoming Samsung Gear S3 will also get GPS.
The “Series 2” watch will also get a faster processor and a brighter display for outdoor use and be available in a new white ceramic material.
Apple has also partnered with Nike to create a separate device called Apple Watch Nike+. The watch features a new sport design and will have features tailored to fitness.
Apple Watch’s new operating system, Watch OS 3, will also include a new feature that reminds users to take a deep breath. It will even coach users through deep breathing exercises for stress management.

Pokemon Go is coming to the Apple Watch. John Hanke, CEO of Pokemon creator Niantic Labs, said the idea is to allow you to focus more on your surroundings and not the phone while playing. It’s coming later this year.
Apple Watch S2 will be available for pre-order on Sept. 9.
